Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility (AWWU) is a municipality-owned enterprise activity with the core purpose of safeguarding the health and welfare of the public and the environment.  To this end, every day we practice our mission of providing safe and reliable water and wastewater services today and into the future.  While our mission drives what we do today, preparing for the future is itself central to that mission.
